The Palisades Summer fun program - Club Palisades! 

The focus of Club Palisades is on making life long pool friends while participating in sports, swimming, crafts and games.

Ages: Club Palisades is open to children ages 5, who have completed kindergarten and who can swim a length of the pool, to age 12 (non-members may attend if registered with a member, see application).  Children 13 and over may apply to be volunteers to Club Palisades and receive community service credit.  Volunteer spaces fill up fast and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Whether you;re looking for one week or six weeks, Club Palisades is the place for your child! Club Palisades will operate for six weeks beginning on June 21st and running through July 30th. Club hours are 11:00AM to 3:00PM with early morning drop-off and tennis camp options available.

Activities: Club Palisades will vary each day but may include games such as basketball, soccer, volley ball, dodge ball, kickball, water polo, swimming, ping pong, tennis, water balloons, shuffleboard, board games, and arts & crafts. Club Palisades will provide a snack each afternoon plus, every Friday, there will be a special lunch such as pizza or barbeque included in the fee for Club Palisades.

Hours: Club Palisades hours are from 11am-3pm, which dovetails off of the morning swimming and tennis programs but your children are not required to participate in either swimming or tennis to attend Club Palisades.

This year we will also have an early drop off program that will allow you to drop your child off at the pool as early as 8:30 for pre-Club activities.

A Day in the Life of a Typical Palisades Swim/Dive Team Pool Rat:

8:30am – 9:30am Swim team,

9:30am – 10:00am Swim Clinic,

10:15am – 11:00am Tennis Clinic,

11:00am – 3:00pm CLUB PALISADES,

3:15pm – 4:00pm Tennis Clinic

3:30pm – 4:30pm Dive Team

4:30pm – 5:15pm Swim Team,

5:30pm – 7:00pm Dive Team.

If you are not on the Swim Team or the Dive Team here are your options:

Schedule & Cost:  Club Palisades is on a week-to-week basis and will run from June 21 through July 30.  The price is $175 per week.   We offer a discount to families who enroll more than one child.  Additionally, we encourage signing-up for more than two week, and if you do, your family will receive a discount.  If you sign up for more than two weeks, your rate will be reduced to $150 for each additional week.  For families that enroll more than one child, the first child pays $175 for the first two weeks and the second (and any additional) child pays $150 per child per week.  If you have two or more children enrolled for more than two weeks each child pays $150 for any additional week.

So for example, if you have three children, you pay $175 for the first child, $150 for the second child, and $150 for the third child for the first two week they are signed-up for Club Palisades.  If they sign-up for three to five more weeks, you will pay $150 for the first child, $150 for the second child, and $150 for the third child for any additional weeks.  If you only enroll one child, you will pay $175 for the first two weeks and $150 for any additional week.

Lunch: Lunch on Fridays is included in the price of Club Palisades; however, anyone participating in Club Palisades may purchase lunchboxes on a week-by-week basis directly from the café.  Simply sign up with the café by the Friday prior to the week your child is attending Club Palisades.  Lunches from the café cost $25/week.

Early Drop-Off Option:  We will also have an early drop-off program from 8:30-11:00 each morning.  The additional cost of this option is $75/week.  If your child is taking a morning Tennis Clinic, you can sign up for Club Palisades early drop-off at a reduced rate of $35/week, in addition to the cost of the Tennis Clinic. Non-Members:  A member may sponsor a non-pool member as a guest to Club Palisades.  The non-member must pay an additional $25 per week guest fee and may only attend with his/her sponsor.

Refund Policy

You may cancel 30 days in advance and receive a full refund less a $50 administrative fee; up to 15 days prior to your child’s session you may receive half a refund; and less than 15 days prior to your child’s session there is no refund.

Registration for Campers

Club Palisades space is limited. In order to be guaranteed a space, you may pre-register by downloading the New Registration Form on our website (www.palisadespool.org) and sending the form along with your check made out to Palisades Swimming Pool Association to the address on the form.

Registration for Volunteers

There are a limited number of volunteers for each week. In order to be guaranteed a space for the week you would like, you may pre-register by downloading the volunteer registration form on our website www.palisadespool.org and sending it to the address provided on the application.

Rain Policy

We play in light sprinkles but cancel for thunder and lightning. On days where bad weather is expected, please check your email for Club Palisades updates via our listserv.
