Once again this year, Tennis Director Bob Walsh will be offering after-school tennis at Palisades.  We have three sessions running on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays beginning the week of April 4th.  

Our Tiny Tots group, for kids 4-6 years old, will run on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-5:15 PM. Our Rising Stars group, for kids 7-10 will also take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:15-6:15 PM. 

And we've added a group for older/more experienced kids ages 10 and older, the Future Pros, on Fridays from 5-6 PM. 

All sessions will run for 6 weeks.

The cost for a 6-lesson session for Tiny Tots and Rising Stars is $90 ($100 for non-members). 

The cost for a 6-lesson session for Future Pros is $110 ($120 for non-members). 

We 

will make up any weather related cancellations, but there are no make-ups for missed sessions. For example, if you sign up for Wednesday and miss, but want to come on Thursday to make it up ( or vice versa ), that's ok.

When it comes to choosing the proper place for your child, our age rules are not hard and fast. If you have a six year old who is ready to be with the seven and eight year olds, that's fine. We can move them around based on their abilities after the first session. Similarly, if you've got a ten year old who is more experienced and you think they can play with the older group on Friday, we can give it a try. We want all the kids to have fun and be challenged enough to improve.

We've attached an application here for the upcoming season sessions. Please fill out one for each child and mail back to the address on the form ( check to Bob Walsh ). Spots will be filled as applications are received. Last season we had an assistant to help out, and will again this year if demand requires it. We'll have 6-8 kids per instructor, so everyone will get plenty of tennis and attention.

Play-Date Clinics

A very popular option at Palisades! Bob will be glad to schedule a clinic for your child and friends at a time that works for you.   We can organize sessions for as many as eight kids. A great way to have your child learn tennis in a fun and economical group setting.

Private and Semi-Private Lessons

Some kids learn more in smaller groups or one-on-one settings. Or perhaps you would like to take lessons with your child, or schedule a family tennis lesson.
